2025 CFB Playoffs Thread

They need to rethink that automatic bid. It's become automatically embarrassing.

Edit: Guess I need to rethink the rethink. No more automatic bid. I'll update my calendar from 2020.

They do not have an automatic bid as a power four conference. The power 4 plus group of 5 have five guaranteed spots determined by the five highest ranked. Duke will not get in so Tulane and I think JMU will. We see at noon

You need to catch up. I updated my post 41 seconds ago.

Diaz sucked at Scum because he embraced all that thug U crap that was popular when his dad was the mayor of Miami in their hay days

Pretty sure Duke put that idea to rest in the job interview cause it would be REAL easy to head that way in Durham.

Tulane, JMU, are not better than Bama, ND, Scum, BYU, or Vandy so "best" 12 argument is BS.

The whole thing is stupid and always will be as long as we have a system where 130 plus teams are in the mix. Sorry but the Tulanes and JMUs of the world need to be competing for their own championship at a lower level, not trying to play spoiler for the top trophy in college sports.

What should be happening right now is that all the eligible teams should be in a limited number of conferences, even if its just the current "P4." The champions of those conferences go to a playoff, and that's it. All this wrangling over who had the best loss or the worst schedule is for losers and figure skaters. In the real world of results and numbers you amass a regular season record that is good enough to get to a conference CG, then you win that game and advance to the semis, then you win that game and advance to the natty. Anything else is bullshyt.

Followed by "The Attack of the Crab Monsters". Where special effects were comprised of a closeup of a real crab tearing through walls (made of thin cardboard).

Mine were "The Graduate" and "Night of the Living Dead," both at six years of age, which pretty much explains everything you need to know about me.
The first movie I remember seeing in a theater with my dad was Easy Rider... other first movies I remember seeing were at the drive in... a double feature of Disney's The Sword in the Stone and... Serpico.

Not one of the best. The best. That and Godfather were my first exposure to movies as a kid.

That is a great ending. One of the best to any sports movie, and probably the best sports movie of all time. So I won't mention the 45-second 10 Count. Also, I won't answer, when you say "find a better group out there" with "Yeah, literally anybody NOT from Philadelphia."
