Maybe, if you were smart you would at least hope our staff does a good job of finding the best of the underrated instead of calling out another poster because it's unlikely we are signing a class that includes 20 4 and 5 stars. 3 stars make up a third or more of some very good football teams.

No coaching staff has ever been able to do that consistently with high school recruits.

It appears now that with the portal the ratings of the transfer players aren't very reliable and there is an opportunity to find "underrated" players there.

I think Kamari Wilson was a 5. It was Napier’s first big splash signing. Then he got in Billy’s doghouse because he wasn’t ok with an 8 year upward trajectory of trash while doing community service all week.

What do you mean? Going back just a couple years are the five stars below.

Eugene Wilson missed the cut by one slot. He was nationally 32nd. Only the top 31 players are five stars.
