Which is interesting because it's a designation awarded by people that probably don't know much about football.Only the top 31 players are five stars.

Well since about 65% of them make it to the NFL, I would say they know what they’re talking about.Which is interesting because it's a designation awarded by people that probably don't know much about football.
I would believe their rankings more credible if I knew how much was based on scouting analysis and not offer lists.Well since about 65% of them make it to the NFL, I would say they know what they’re talking about.
What do you mean? Going back just a couple years are the five stars below.
Eugene Wilson missed the cut by one slot. He was nationally 32nd. Only the top 31 players are five stars.
Vernell Brown
Lagway
LJ McCray
Ben Hanks
Myles Graham
#SUNBELT BILLY AND THE BOYSQuite a lineup. I bet the coach who had those guys, plus Dallas and Baugh, and 4 years of roster stacking parlayed that into a minimum 3 wins.
No need, your mom's got that covered.Get a hold of yourself for god sake. No, I don't mean touch yourself.
Reminds me that many of the 4 and 5 star guys don't "pan out"(DJ). Nice to get them, no doubt.
Is this our Kamari?

No, the "recruiting services" do zero actual scouting and dont have staff capable of scouting regardless. They have zero scouting talent.Offer lists were the original bases for rankings. The sports reporters figured if the top teams were all after a guy, he must be top shelf.
They do much more actual scouting now, which is more relevant because of all the elite camps where the top guys compete against each other.
I didn't know this. You’re right. I use 247 (comes with Paramount). They had Lagway & McCray but not the others. (I assume On3 rated them 5’s as well.)
Just grumbling. Thanks for the correction.
I didn't know this.
I have Paramount+ , no idea I could have 247 with it.

The business is no longer sending out scouting reports like when it was scouts versus rivals who were both selling scouting reports to college football teams. The scouts then were actual lower end football coaches between jobs or people trying to move up in the industry. Magazines were a side gig.
Now they have social media "influencers" and low rent journalist wannabes selling product to the public based on clicks and advertising.
The schools all have their own very large scouting departments now and they don't rely on these hacks. it is certainly true that the hacks rely on leaks or inside sources from inside the scouting departments of the programs, who can obviously be quite biased.
They are using a software platform! There is a 100lb gorilla in this space where they have the high schools video all their game, practices, and upload bios for their players. This is where all the scouts pay to view these videos and can ask for specific video of certain players or plays. They do not need staff anymore. No, the "recruiting services" do zero actual scouting and dont have staff capable of scouting regardless. They have zero scouting talent.

Might’ve been at an outdoor gathering and got teased about the fruit and umbrella in his drink. Kicked the fire basket while ripping his shirt off to fight the offenderjdh5484 said:Are you ground testing a jet engine?

ironically, that journalism teacher was pretty decent and very flirty with me. We arranged to meet one night at a football game and “go somewhere”. But she was technically engaged, and her fiancé decided last minute he wanted to come along with her. Pre cell phone days, so it was awkward for a moment when I walked up. Nothing ever happened with me, but I’m sure she hooked up with someone.PastyStoole said:I had a crush on my chemistry teacher. Mrs. Baker. I used to call her Mrs. Beaker. I'm gonna try it out with my girl. She has pretty feet. I'm gonna be rolling in the dough.soflagator said:We had this girl with really nice feet when I was in HS. I’m not a foot person per se, but these were really sexy for some reason. I took a journalism class just to sit next to her.
