While listening to the Columbia station - they went over a little of the ACC media days drama.
Two things I heard:
1. Clemson is the overwhelming favorite to win the conference
2. Jimbo Fisher is not doing nearly enough to change public perception - just lots of talk. He's not 'angry enough' at the situation there in Trailertrashy.

I kind of figured out why my local sports is always fawning over the ACC. I think the station and city are determined to get the ACC championship every year.

Any way, they have been covering ACC media days. Talk about a snooze fest. I did notice something from it though. All coaches in the ACC interviewed basically talk about how the conference belongs and the teams are strong and can play with anyone, etc. etc. It's pretty laughable and pathetic. You don't see any of the other conferences with that subtle pleading to the national media and pundits.
