Analogue clocks are outdated

Schools are removing the analogue clocks because the kids can’t read them. Similar to not teaching cursive writing or Roman numerals. Are these just outdated things and it’s time to move on? I can see a valid point here but weird to think there will be a new generation that won't know how to tell time from an analogue clock.

Can't expect teachers to teach how to tell time when they have much more important subjects to teach like:
96 genders,
the beauty of socialism,
and a woman's right to murder her child.
