Those are bad examples - they had good numbers at GT due to how they would just sling it deep every so often. You could see on tape those receivers had talent. Robinson was kind of a victim of the QB play this season and some drops of his own doing but still managed to gain over 800 yards after becoming the focal point of secondaries while no other receiver or TE here has even reached the 600 yard mark since 09.

I don't think Debose ever had it to be a top WR.

I would think every receiver during the dawgchamp error was double cursed, first was having him as a shoulder coach (never rated the head status) whose offensive philosophy sucked, then second when he went all in with JD.

Lots of people all over the place got cheated by WM's 4 years here. Enough for a class action lawsuit.

Not worth starting a thread but … fastest 40 in the NFL combine came from a UAB WR = J.J.Nelson. 4.29
During this season he had 144 yards vs Miss. State & 90 vs Arkansas. That's SEC and without a stellar QB

I thought this was going to be an article about Kelvin Benjamin. (That's sarcasm, Vulcan.)

Yeah, but Miss State had an absolutely putrid defense that was ranked 100+ in yardage. Kintucky looked good compared to them.

Debose immediately comes to mind, but I'm forgetting some others.

Some of you people kill me. I swear, if Debose were back as 9th year senior, some of you would be jumping for joy and stating this will be his breakout, All SEC year.

Only WR on our team that has shown signs of being an NFL WR is Robinson.

Great article but how else would you evaluate talent. Are you fast, are you quick, can you catch, can you execute your routes and adjustments, and finally will you block when required? Pretty simple for those who understand football.
