Good read on a bizarre turn of events that led to Belichick’s introductory presser as the Jets’ new head coach turning into his resignation announcement. It left everyone, including mentor and outgoing coach Bill Parcells, stunned.

Kraft stole Belichick out from underneath the Jets by offering something they weren’t willing to, complete control of football operations. It worked out pretty well for the Pats.
