If it was an academic violation (cheating = claiming a paper written by someone else ??) the profs probably
wanted him twisting in the wind … scare him straight ? worrying about expulsion or just the difficult punishment?

Although I hope hes cleared and can play, I hope more that justice prevails. If the kid did something wrong, he needs to be held accountable, and the punishment should fit the crime. Leave halfassu to let criminals run wild, its their job over there.
