It's obvious he wasn't making a decision until LeBron did, holding out hope that Bosh would sign with Houston and free enough cap space to help forge a new Big Three in Miami. That's a more than a little irony in this because LeBron's always said he did't seek to be THE GUY and yet Anthony would have come in attached to LeBron's cape. So he goes back to his cozy little, max-salary corner in New York, financially secure but his NBA legacy hanging in the balance. He could have accepted a lesser contract from the Bulls with a pledge from them to rework it to make it more lucrative, but once again, it's Anthony being Melo Yellow. He deserves what's in store for him in New York, and it won't include a championship.
