Finally got to the American cemetery today and as I started moving through the headstones I found myself looking for soldiers from Florida. This was the first Florida soldier I found.

Omaha Beach is incredibly moving. It may take him a few days or weeks of reflection before he can properly respond. I was there over 20 years ago and don’t think I could truly describe how it felt. I do know this: I will go back some day.

It’s just that I’m still traveling around and haven’t had a lot of time to respond. I’m gonna do a trip report when I’m in on the plane home in a couple days.
