“I don’t see no big deal like everybody else,” Clowney said in Saban: The Making of a Coach, via Greg Rajan of the Houston Chronicle. “They’d say, ‘He’s the king of all of football.’ The guy ain’t nothing but 5-5. He’s a short guy. Everybody’s going crazy on Nick Saban.

"He talked the whole time he was there. I was dozing off. He can talk. A lot. He talked for a whole straight hour.”

Wish Clowney would have hit Saban like he hit that Meatchicken RB.

Saban came up to clowneys waist-band and the dude does like to hear himself. He goes on long diatribes in his weekly pressers; often the make little sense but since hes preaching to the peanut gallery, it matters not.

Not real fond of either one - but wasn't Clowney the dude who took plays off (even took off a game without much advance warning) and hasn't done squat diddly in the NFL?

He was a rookie last year and missed pretty much the entire season with a torn meniscus.

Then I stand corrected (NFL) - forgot about the injury.
But I don't think SOS was pleased with his less than stellar work ethic/commitment.

I think you're right. Regarding his junior season.

I'll bet Clowney called him an elf.

Saban to Clowney:
Hey, jackweed, I get more action in a week than you've had in your entire life. I've got houses in L.A., Paris and Tuscaloosa.
In each one, a 70 inch plasma screen. So I suggest you wipe that stupid smile off your face before I come over there and SMACK it off!
You feeling strong, my friend? Call me elf one more time

I'm sorry, but Clowney is a pussy. He gets a little ding and can't play. I don't think he even wants to play. I think he'll fart around until it's time to get a new contract and play hard for one year. He'll sign a big deal and then be hurt again. He'll always be referred to as "I wonder what his career would've been like if he could've stayed healthy"

I don't think Nick Saban needs Jadeveon Clowney's blessings to be considered a great college coach.

Really. Who gives a crap what Clowney thinks. If it weren't for football, he'd be flopping Whoppers.

Heck, I always said that Clowney was going to be an NFL bust, as he doesn't work hard enough. So far so good on that prediction. I just thought his crack about nearly dozing off when Saban was talking was amusing.
