I pretty much remember Syn starting a thread how he had to miss the Gator hoops game vs S Alabama in the NCAA tournament because he had a hair appointment and even posted a pic of his new hairdo for all of us to see.
As for orange 54, he had another username before the board initially shut down. It was something like stone407 with a Lane Kiffin av back in 2009. Pretty much the 2nd most idiotic Vol on that board only to Alvin.

I think the Lawrence guy was way after Gatorchatter got up and running. Saw a couple of his posts. Seemed a lot like Sid to me.

I don't know, Lawrence to me acted more like our "favorite" Canes fan, CaneThing.
So much entertainment especially when slevin banned Sid and pretty much ran CaneThing, who later became inmyeyes, off the board.
After Gator Chatter was up and running, Alvin even called out Lawrence Of Florida for pretending to be a Gator on that board about 5 years ago.

At one time the sun's board was as good as it gets. In the 90s. there were some outrageous posters and more lurkers than you could imagine. Heck I remember when the Tampa posters got together for lunch. I checked the board daily and posted a lot; but, then, the super smart people started working on it. Moderators were good at first, another change was made, and then the useless fans from other places started the vitriol. Although there were some good rivalry posters, like FSUnole (RIP) who could dish it out but he could tale also and it was all in fun. Then the shutdowns because the moderators could handle the hateful posters and they wouldn't ban anyone. But we were banned for using the word "Gator" on everyone else's message board. The sun set!!!!!!

Then with Ox's genius Gatorchatter came alive. Even though I don't post much anymore, the board is enjoyable and there is a special place for those who spew their hate.
