forget Nascar. Took my girlfriend to her first sprint race and we saw this instant classic.

Jesse was midpack at Daytona. Couldn't catch a break and had slight damage from a multi car wreck he was almost able to miss. This week they had mechanical issues and lost 40 laps but the team learned from it and he is driving strong.

I met an Indy Lights team this weekend in St Pete (Florida not Russia) that is all minority, led by African Americans. Interesting deal, they're associated with Penske. Great crew, and driver Ernie Francis Jr started last (P14), but finished P7. Everyone was all smiles in the paddock after the race. My girlfriend has been close to Ernie's family since he was 15. It was cool to be there for his series debut. Force Indy #99
