He had a good one on First Take as well. Stephen A had some tough questions and Coach Mac dances around them. He's pretty artful at not answering questions. I think that he's going to need to be a bit more open and honest as he gets more seasoned here.

The more I hear Coach Mac, the more convinced I am that he recognizes the previous regimes errors and knows how to fix them.

IMHO the only question Coach Mac danced around was "Who is your starting quarterback going to be?" He basically gave two answers during the four interviews I saw. (Paraphrasing) 1) the QB will be the guy who elevates the rest of the offense and gets them to work cohesively as a unit. 2) The QB will be the guy who moves the ball and doesn't turn it over, i.e.throwing to the wrong color jersey. The guy who ends every drive in a kick. Whether that is a FG, Extra point, or punt (after throwing it out of bounds to avoid a loss of yardage or turnover) in order to play the field position game.
Now, I see nothing wrong with those two types of answers at this juncture. It pays absolutely zero dividends for him to answer with a single name before fall practices start. If you think differently then you are delusional.
