Lingard really surprises me. I was certain he was going to take the reigns this season and be the lead guy. I know there will be a rotation, but 4th?

Burke and Ziperer as well.
Yeah, those asshats have no clue. Might as well ask a homeless guy to make the list.

There’s a homeless guy at an intersection we see frequently holding a Jimmy Johns sign and asking for money. I refer to him as “Jimmy” and tell my children that’s what becomes of kids who don’t do their homework and/or ask for extra screen time or more ice cream. Anyway it’s just a scare tactic and it works, but I do sometimes feel bad about the pointing and semi-mocking as we drive by.

Don’t downplay the starters. Incredibly solid O-Line.

Yes experience counts and I'm expecting solid O-line performance. Size wise, they're where they should be and yes they are massive.

6'5" 308
6'4" 331
6'3" 301
6'5" 347
6'5" 320

Avg. 6'4.4" 321.4

I just meant in football context, "massive" is usually a relative term. Considering that O'Cyrus skews our average a bit, it's right there with mid-tiers like Arkansas and USCe.

Razorbacks
Luke Jones, 6'5" 327
Brady Latham, 6'5" 303
Ricky Stromberg, 6'4" 313
Beaux Limmer, 6'5" 300
Dalton Wagner, 6'9" 337

Avg. 6'5.6" 316

Gamecocks
Jaylen Nichols 6'5" 322
Vershon Lee 6'4" 308
Eric Douglas 6'4" 297
Jovaughn Gwyn 6'3" 300
Dylan Wonnum 6'5" 305

Avg. 6'4.2" 306.4

Jimbo's got big'uns.

Trey Zuhn III 6'6" 320
Jordon Spasojevic-Moko 6'5" 320
Bryce Foster 6'5" 325
Layden Robinson 6'4" 330
Reuben Fatheree II 6'8" 325

Avg. 6'5.6" 324

Corndogs got the chunkiest buglies.

Will Campbell 6'6" 325
Tre'Mond Shorts 6'5" 340
Garrett Dellinger 6'5" 320
Miles Frazier 6'6" 323
Anthony Bradford 6'5" 345

Avg. 6'5.4", 330.6

Whatever has happened to Linguard not sure, but listening to a couple podcasts point out that it's not that he's doing bad. He has just reached his ceiling. It's also due to the talent and Etienne is really pushing the group as well. It may suck for him being #4, but it means we have a good RB room.

I suspect there is a bit of gamesmanship going on. Billy may not be talking about certain players to minimize Utah’s prep for them.

Could be a bit of that. But many are really talking about how Wright has done well post injury and will be pleasant surprise. One thing additionally to look for is Etienne on PR and KR. He's getting looks there. If they turn that over to a true freshman? Is he really that good now or are we super thin. Could be a little of both. But many are saying he's doing really well. Could be a good early surprise.

Wright is 188 pounds - he's not going to be any kind of a starting workhorse. I figured he would be the primary back on passing downs, he can be killer taking passes out of the backfield. Etienne is probably the one for the biggest explosion potential.

Don't think its any indictment on Lingard at all. Think Johnson is the real deal, Wright missed some spring due to injury so Lingard was getting a lot of touches/PR and nobody realized how good Etienne was going to be right from the get go. Everywhere I have read basically says Lingard looks good, its just that our RB room looks really really good. *Need to consider it is preseason with a new staff that just about everyone likes at the moment so have to consider we are getting a lot of sunshine pump.

Seems to be a theme with most of that transition class. We only took 20 players but it seems over a quarter of that class is already looking like talent that is going to get on the field early because they are that good. James, ETN, Moore, Wison, Douglas, Reynolds, McClellan, Lyons, Savaiinea and Smack...albeit, the DL guys probably will see the field due to poor depth.

I think you're looking at his Rivals numbers from when he was a freshman--the official Gator roster and ESPN have him at 202 this year.

Which is still a bit light, but he's a tough runner for his size. What I like about him is that when he can't get additional yards or go around a defender, he doesn't try to duck out of bounds and not take the hit--he always seeks contact and lowers his shoulders to generate contact. Dude runs angry.

Isn’t Lingard fast also?
