Brent Pry out at Tech and UCLA parts ways with DeShaun Foster after week 3 of the 2025 season. UCLA has now fired 2 coaches since we hired our retard. They may not be a consistently successful program but you got to give them props for caring and not tolerating abject failures. Meanwhile Stricklin is hiding and playing pocket pool like usual.

They seem to have the pulse of the boosters, particularly VT and the AD's value their jobs.

I guess we really are a basketball school. It could be worse but it’s completely inexcusable to force us to have to look at, and listen to that black shirted moron defer blame and refuse to make necessary changes. If we are going to suck because they want to bargain shop, at least give us a coach who actually gives AS and acknowledges that he is responsible for the failure and outlines what he is doing to try to correct it.

We aren’t serious about winnng.

The close to last year and the narrative of USF being decent and LSU being a close road loss to #3 will keep him alive momentarily. After a blowout Saturday and the two Texas losses, he’ll be gone. Teams like VT and Ucla need a leg up on timing. We don’t.

All I care about is having an interim to finish the year so we can hopefully pull upsets the final 2 weeks. The hay is in the barn at this point.

So I have got this thought. The simpleton in me says Va Tech is targeting Beamer Jr. if that occurs post regular season, is it possible that Ray Tanner at USCe in his advisory role to the Prez, can convince USCe brass to look at UF again and possibly snare Country Slow if he is not our former quite yet? He did snare MusDump but long after UF canned him. But I prefer Karl long be our former when Va. Tach goes calling people, and we are happily paying Retard's buyout and recoup any should North Georgia Christian School for the Mentally Challenged decide to hire one of their own to coach the football team.

I watched a little of the UCLA game. H.S. attendance numbers at the Rose Bowl. Like Miami.

63,000 season tickets were sold out this year. 17,500 student tickets were sold out this year. He's got his money this year. I don't think anybody can give them back. And he's got all that TV money. Strick is probably not going to be in a hurry until the stadium starts to go really empty and he has to face dollar problems next year. The only short term hope is that the heat from the sports writers will be too much. Apparently he doesn't give a s.h.i.t. about the fans unless they stop buying tickets.

Congratulations go out to Billy Napier, on getting fired by Florida, walking away with $20 million and taking the VT job.

No one is hiring that retard to a P5 job other than our own skinny jeans wearing puzzy of an AD.

Thats the thing... even low attendance doesnt really affect the money. If half the stadium is empty it still wont have any real affect on the bank. Its just the perception he's (and, imo, the UAA) worried about.

Football is a cash cow to them.

Fans? Let them eat cake.

I was reliably misinformed by many here that it wasn't possible to fire a coach this early in the season; like, exceeding the speed of light level impossible. How can this be?

Any chance he doesn’t get fired this year ?
I don't see him being fired. I think Stricklin will force him to make some changes (new coordinators) and he’ll get another year. There’s been zero accountability into his 4th year, why would it start now? Nothing has changed.

FWIW I actually believe this is a plausible scenario. Stricklin could pull the whole "he's giving up the play calling sheet, we have to give it a year to see if it works, can't be hasty" act. Could go either way though.

How about this poor fella in the frame on the right. Goes to a Tina Turner statue unveiling. Spends the rest of his life getting ridiculed by his friends about his new "girlfriend."

Somehow, i don't think the word "explode" ever makes it into his everyday vernacular.
it was kind of a butter's thing really. we were told an offensive explosion was coming in 2014. I'm just merging Butters and his protege. I actually think the words last year were something like Billy's confident because he knows what he's got or something like that.
