OK fellas, son #1’s iPhone 6 Plus is beat to hell and he’s upgrade eligible looking to go to S8+. Lemme know your thoughts! Thanks in advance!
He just does... he’ll be on his own in the Android universe, that’s not a bad thing, he’ll figure it out.My dad has the s8, and is completely NOT tech savvy. But he has picked it up pretty well.
Solid phone, light, great pictures.
The only annoying thing is the location of the finger biometrics scanner, right next to the back camera.
It is rumored that will change on the s9's but Who knows for sure. Might be worth waiting to see what comes out of the s9's or to at least get the s8's cheaper. The s9 models are expected to be out late 1st qtr to early 2 qtr next year, so only a few months away.
Why does he want to change from iOS?
Nerd fight! ;)
My whole house is iPhone, he’ll be the first to leave the foldI have an iPhone for work and a pixel for personal... I prefer the pixel. But know that the IPhone is a quality piece of hardware.. just personal preference.
it's been years since my stepdaughter moved from iOS to android. I don't recall if she moved music over.He just does... he’ll be on his own in the Android universe, that’s not a bad thing, he’ll figure it out.
I can look it up, but is there any problem moving iTunes library?
Just curious why this is such a bother? I know it takes a little getting used to at first but it's not that big of a deal. Most headphones are Bluetooth. The car is Bluetooth.no headphone jack still hacks me off
The car has an alternator. ;)Just curious why this is such a bother? I know it takes a little getting used to at first but it's not that big of a deal. Most headphones are Bluetooth. The car is Bluetooth.
Is this your way of saying you have to use the tape adapter for the cassette player? I have to and just use the adapter for the headphone jack. The car has an alternator. ;)
Basically, yes. It’s just me. Actually, because my car charges my phone while using Bluetooth while your phone doesn’t charge your ear buds while watching streaming video. I don’t travel as much as I used to working, but because of my work, I’ve always traveled beyond lite... out of a back pack in fact (even for weeks at a time). I never check luggage when flying (even when traveling with family, it’s habit). There are times when I’m in four countries in three time zones in five days. As a result of that (and out of necessity), I hate carrying anything I don’t have to that requires charging. I also hate adapters, it’s why I’ve never used a Lifeproof case... because you need a damn headphone adapter... I literally have always used a snack sized ziplock bag as my waterproof case... you can still use the touchscreen, hear just fine and talk just fine through the bag, I can drop it in water, and I don’t have all the damn bulk of the case. I’m not trying to be an ass, it’s just my preference. Is this your way of saying you have to use the tape adapter for the cassette player? I have to and just use the adapter for the headphone jack.
Samsung says you're welcome.I have the iPhone X. Best phone from Apple ever. And it’s not close.
