3 seed UCONN throttled 2 seed Ga Tech without their ace Anthony Kay, who has first round MLB talent. That leaves them set up well for game 2 tomorrow. Gators will need to take care of business tonight and bring their A game tomorrow.

I by no means am over looking BC tonight, who the Gators are 30-0 all time against, I'm just letting everyone know our draw just got a lot tougher. I'm not sure how many are familiar with Kay.

I wonder if the starting rotation will be the same as the regular season? I'd start Shore, Faedo, then Puk in the tourney. I'd even go Faedo, Shore, then Puk. I just like consistency of Faedo and Shore. I think Puk is perfect for any game 3 scenario, either elimination or win out.

I know it's post-season and all and you can throw out the regular season stuff, but I'd still like to see our normal starting weekend rotation of Shore, Puk, then Faedo.

Just listened to the post game show on IMG sports radio.
We won 9-3
Shore pitched 7 innings
Running only had to throw 14 pitches
Peter Alonso hit two huge HR's. Scored 3, 3 RBIs, played of the game
Left 8 runners on base and had 2 errors
