Put CeCe in italics KC, at this rate he may never step foot on campus.

Brandon Powell is still technically a RB in the crowded backfield isn't he? He got a significant number of carries last year. Has he been officially moved to WR?

I thought he was officially moved to slot receiver during the season, but could be wrong.

move mcgriff to WR, backfield is loaded, we need WR and he is a beast downfield.
I disagree. Mcgriff should and will be a RB come next season. You put him, scarlet, and lane into the top 3 spots on the depth chart then feed them the ball. Unless KT bulks up big time and stops running "Soft" he'll be riding pine.

We haven't had a full 85 on the roster in 4 years but we will have at the start of the 16 season.

5 years. I can't even remember how many kids that signed in the 2010 class didn't even report for spring practice. Haden and a couple more.

You can see where Mac is laying a foundation. We'll need those backs!

You are right Law,it has been 5 yrs. That clusterfu*k 2010 class slipped my mind there for a minute. Hopefully we'll get that bullcrap fixed in the next cycle.

We are no longer dangerously thin at punter! :panic:

Zuniga is a outside rusher, that's what he was recruited for.

If Mac can coach them up, we have the talent to take the East easily. Some of our tough games are in the Swamp, win those are we'll have a great year that will result in a top 5 recruiting class. Then we will be able to fill all positional shortages with quality players.

If we can get 8 players to play good in the O-line rotation I believe we'll have a great chance to win the east. I'm not worried about the rest of the roster because we're loaded. Plus I truly believe we have the coaches in place now who can coach up our current roster and put them into situations so they can be successful. We'll be back on top real soon!

I don't think winning the East is realistic this year. With the questions on the OL and at QB along with installing an entirely new offense and defense, I think we'll do well to end up about 8-4 in Mac's first year.

Well Gee "don't let anybody tell you that this team lacks talent". Now I bet some players will be moving around next year as our new staff sees potential on offense and especially at the WR position. Somebody will probably be moved to LB either from safety or running back.

Four are freshmen who haven't played a snap. Riles is a defensive lineman who just moved sides. Sarvary shouldn't be on the list, he's no longer on the team.

We'll probably have two or three hurt in either spring or fall practice if the numbers are normal. Though I suspect they will try to avoid injuries which will unfortunately mean our guys won't have as much full speed experience in practice. We just can't risk it.

And that's not even dealing with the issue that the guys we have left apparently weren't good enough to beat out Tyler Moore, unless Summers was so limited by Chimp that he wasn't allowed to make the depth chart... which I admit is possible. I'm fairly certain Rod Johnson was one of our top OL last year.

I'm sorry, but I just don't think anyone can put together a serviceable OL under these conditions. This isn't the NFL where we can just sign a few free agents over the summer.

This recruiting class was a start but we aren't going to have even a mediocre OL for at least a year.

Doesn't such judgement involve knowing the shortfalls/successes of each opposing
defensive line that ours faces ?
