Sitting at # 79 now with the rushing game a pretty good # 42 and the passing game a very pedestrian # 99. I think that is better at this point of the season than our best total offense from Muschamp on - which was # 96 in 2014 I think. Being a transition year I think ending up in the 70s would be alright.

Nov 17 Update (before Idaho)
Total Offense: 69 (4130 | 413/game)
Rushing: 42 (2031 | 203.1/game | 5.1/attempt)
Passing: 98 (1953 | 195.3/game | 7.2/attempt)
Scoring: 52 (31/game) [2017: 109 with 22.1ppg]

I'll be surprised if the passing game under Mullen ever gets inside #50.

No reason to think it will be better than with Leak and Tebow here. I wonder what our pass rank was then?

But in fairness to this season, how much better could our offense have been with a good QB and OL? There's room for improvement and it will come. FWIW, Miss St's pass game and overall offense had better ranks than us this season although PPG were similar. 29+ is enough to win a lot of games and a great improvement from last few seasons.

Florida was 28th in passing yards per game with 236.1/game in 2006.
61st with 213.9/game in 2008.

For reference,
they were 38th with 160/game in 2006.
they were 10th with 231.1/game rushing in 2008.

I don't know what to say about the future of our pass game. Last season Miss St was ranked below 100 and season before 89th. FWIW same two seasons Bama was 91st and 87th and it worked out pretty well for them and recruiting elite WRs not a problem.

It'll be dictated by who's behind center. Mullen flexes to his strengths per Dak. But it is what it is, a run-first offense mixing inside and outside.

Pretty sure he'll be given the keys to the city if he makes it to 10.

Similar info to what @BMF posted with a few tweaks. Finish with these numbers and 9 or 10 wins and on-the-field performance by this coaching staff exceeds my preseason expectations by a bunch (I had 8 wins in mind). Now if we can only equal or better his '18 recruiting class...
