If the NFL office really did receive the video that we saw Monday from TMZ back in April, Goodell has some 'splaining to do. If that is the case, the only things saving Goodell are his bosses circling the wagons trying to protect him.

They're figuring out who's going to take the fall as we speak. They need a scapegoat.

agreed, especially since they are moving events like the draft, weekly game schedule, etc.. around to cover more of the calendar and seasonal schedules.

No way in hell is Goodell lying about not knowing about the tape. The guy is a ruthless business man, period. He'd have suspended Rice for at least a year if he had seen the tape. Why wouldn't he? He suspended Rothlesburger for "allegedly" sexually assaulting a girl...and plenty of other suspensions for minor BS. He's smart enough to know if that tape existed (and he'd seen it) that it would make it's way to the public at some point.

The guy is one of the best CEO's ever.
