I've heard people say 9-3 should be the minimum. I doubt that will happen. Just wondering what others thinks is the minimum acceptable for a first year coach at UF.

He has to win 9.
Fan base is skeptical.
Players are still in wait and see.
Recruits are skeptical.

We win 9 next year and don't lose any game by more than 2 scores, we will be on the right track.

i'll play

9 minimum - if he's a motivator, hires the right staff, has that 'it' factor that allows him to elevate his game.. we were close in a lot of games that The Retard blew with his game management/calls/decisions... etc

i would also say that it will also depend of who we lose in the portal and who we get. The makeup of the team will definitely be new, a new staff.. how quick the kids adjust..

but this is Florida, the talent should be there to be competitive in every game, right coaching and right game management makes for wins, we seem to play like schit on the road in mizzery, and texas will be out for revenge on that road trip, 2 losses, one wtf game, so there are the 3 losses

FF pretty much nailed it . Regardless of talent level ,Good staffs have disciplined teams that don’t beat themselves with foolish penalties and selfish play . Spitting on an opponent , having two players on the field with the same number , too many men or not enough men on the field field are all signs of poorly coached teams . These were happening frequently under retard Billy . The wins will come if we avoid retarded coaching .

In a 12 game season anything under 10 and a trip to Atlanta is a failure at UF. Not saying he should be fired at 9-3 or 8-4 but it’s a wasted year. That is the standard set by SOS and I’m not ok with anything less.
Our administration is perfectly happy with 7-5 and some obscure bowl game so my opinion means less than nothing.

I need to see immediate improvement in S&C, disciplined in all phases on the field, special teams who play "special" and actually contribute, the UM philosophy on flipping the field in our favor, DL and LB's who play nasty AF, DBU again, WO's making huge plays, RB room pounding the rock behind grown men loving being road graders, Ten deep OL with attitude.

Coaches coaching! Players playing, fans cheering Gators being in the game and winning all the games we should win, taking it to UGA and FSU regularly! Being competitive vs anybody.

Not asking for too much!

Next year we have the easiest schedule we've had in probably decades. We lose LSU and toothless as permanent opponents.

There are 9 games on the schedule that are should-wins plus games against ugly, texass and ou. If we only win 8 we've made a mistake. We wouldn't fire him for that, but it would be an inevitable outcome at that point.

Cousin Eddie went 9-3 (+ the bowl win) his first season and was clearly not the answer. I don’t think there’s actually a win number the first season that tells us. (The exception would be if wins them all; I feel certain that ain’t happening.) I think it’ll be more of a case of what it looks like on the field and what the next recruiting class looks like.

Quality of play and coaching management during games. Records can be deceiving. See 2024, Zook, Butters, etc.
Zook's 7-5 was deceiving? It didnt deceive me a bit. but back then we were expected to beat Vanderbilt and Kentucky. I don't remember it deceiving too many people either.

You left out "throwing an opposing player's shoe to lose the game and the post-season opportunity, but your coach names you a team captain the next game anyway".

9 or more says there's a solid chance we have a long term answer. Anything less and there is ZERO chance we will ever amount to more than a steaming pile of dog sht. I don't make the rules.

And also 100% chance that 8 or less and the usual suspects will be on this board riding sumrall's dck as hard as possible.

Needs at least 3 years, gotta get his guys, takes time to build a program, meyer/muschamp/maceltard/dildoD/tater broke the program, schedule isn't fair, refs hate us, not enough nil, too many negative posters on an Internet message board, etc.

Probably left a few out but silver and ancient retard can fill you in.

Happy If You Say So GIF

9 wins, but as Dan proved that always doesn't mean its on the right track. In game mistakes need to be fixed and we need to be killing it on the recruiting trail. Get 9 wins and start to take back some of the home talent (not easy anymore with NIL) and show me your closing the gap between the ones that care and the ones that don't.

Mine were "The Graduate" and "Night of the Living Dead," both at six years of age, which pretty much explains everything you need to know about me.
The first movie I remember seeing in a theater with my dad was Easy Rider... other first movies I remember seeing were at the drive in... a double feature of Disney's The Sword in the Stone and... Serpico.

That is a great ending. One of the best to any sports movie, and probably the best sports movie of all time. So I won't mention the 45-second 10 Count. Also, I won't answer, when you say "find a better group out there" with "Yeah, literally anybody NOT from Philadelphia."
