He should change positions now if he wants a shot at the nfl
So only two scholly QB’s for next season??? Any chance we could send a smoking hot, mono infected sorority girl to Athens in saaaayyyyy..... early October???
Anybody think Eason gets the Scott Frost treatment (when Frost transferred to Nebraska)? Frost was apparently not welcomed w/ open arms after shunning the home state team to sign w/ Stanford. Washington just signed two 4-star QBs last month...
Does the severity of the injury matter? I mean he could have played again this season had Fromm not played Lou Gehrig to his Wally Pipp.
Again guys, he played late in games against VU and tenn this year. Week 6. A redshirt for this season should be out of the question. Am I missing something here?

The way the rule is written, you are probably right. One of the big off-season issues last year (last off-season) was "redshirt reform". It was put off until this off-season, but the premise was that a player could play in 30% of games - not just the first part of the season. Meaning, a player could play game 1, game 5, and game 9 and still be eligible to redshirt. I imagine that passes this off-season and goes into effect next year.....and it would allow Eason to get a redshirt for this year. BUT, Eason has to sit out a year anyway so he'll be a redshirt junior when he first takes the field at Washington regardless. This was a big topic last year when everyone was up in arms because Butters wouldn't take the redshirt off Franks.
It would be rough if UGAly got Fromm hurt.
I suspected something was up, when last night the sideline cameras never showed Eason nor told the Eason-Fromm story. It didn't seem right.
