Part of Bucs PR campaign to separate his image from the coming news blurbs about the rape accusation civil suit. They've already done some other "good Jameis" type pieces. I expect more and more to be released as it gets closer to August. This is about influencing public opinion- don't kid yourself.
First of all, if he was every truly repentant, he'd admit to the numerous crimes and public displays of sexual harassment and property damage of the old Jameis. because conscience ( which he doesn't really have, which is a sad situation for him) would dictate admitting them as he would want to be right with God and the old Jameis has passed away and he is now a new creation, to paraphrase the Bible passage a bit. He's a sociopath. This is for show. Most likely orchestrated by the Bucs PR dept, rather than Jameis.
There was a bit of this after the Kinsman rape accusation. One of the boosters brought him to one of the affluent Tally churches, where folks met such a nice polite, well mannered young man, no doubt falsely accused, whom they expected was coming back because he indicated that he was, but what do ya know, he never did. They were surprised he didn't, because he played his part so convincingly. My friend went to that church, and if I hadn't been sending her news from outside Tally, she would have thought he was falsely accused because he just seemed so very nice.. He knows how to play roles when he thinks he has to.

I hadn't come up with your descriptive imagery, but I have thought the same thing. First of all, I remain skeptic that there is a real, as opposed to PR generated GF. The body language screams so much. I'd say they were having a less than idyllic interaction, were pissed at having to go through the PR stunt, or /( and) real or fake GF, she can't stand him.-maybe all three.
