Damn, I guess Trash falls from fourth string to fifth next year. 601 yards is more than entire high school career of Trash.

He's been putting up video game type numbers all year and I think he plays at a pretty good level of competition. I fully expect him to get atleast a look at qb. Pretty sure he was told he would get a shot at it.

Yeah, they said he would be given the opportunity to compete at QB

Yeah, you got your black card on that.

I see him as slot who can run some wildcat packages
I'm not gonna agrue that its impossible he plays another position. Maybe its wishful thinking on my part that his crazy numbers would translate at the college level. Either way , i don't mind being the outcast.

I just don't see him being able to run through progressions. Don't get me wrong, I'd love for him to ball at QB

Let's take him just because he seems like the QB-recruit other schools get.
We need to stop discounting HS QBs because they're good at running; this guy is good at passing.
He has great body-control, which would make him very teachable at throwing himself into his throws,
stepping into them. No more wilting violet throws.
I'm also hoping Franks gets that way also.

I'm curious, why?
I don't see him running through progressions. I edited and fixed my post (thanks and sorry). I watched his film and I don't think he made a successful read the entire reel. Looks like an amazing athlete though.

It will be nice to have a wildcat QB for short yardage. Oh, and someone in the slot that can get open.

6-0. I hope he can play in heels.
I could take the rest of the day listing offsuccessful 6'0ish QBs. Despite the lists mantra, Treon's problems were that he was a run first QB and a poor QB mentally. The same can be said for 6'4 Jeff Driskel.

Height is barely an issue. Of course its nicer to have a tall dude. However, its much better to have a guy who has, at least, excelled at his level of competition and who seems to be a gamer.

What a waste of a scholarship. He has to play QB, because his slow a$$, 4.7 self can't play any other position. He might move to slot, but he'd never see the field. And no, he will never, ever be ahead of Trask. This kid, when it comes to playing QB, isn't in Trask's league.

All I've seen all season is people discounting this kid and saying they wished he'd flip to another program or someone would "steal" him from us.

I'm confused here. Not sure what to think. Did we want him anyway?
