It would've been plausible for Driskel to start next week if Treon sucked, but Treon played well, so he deserves the starting role.

I think the thought was that the center-QB exchange and the victory formation have been practiced more often with Driskel. We would have lost the game if the center and qb had missed an exchange and given up the ball.

Does this 3 int victory with basically 2 decent offensive drives instill confidence in anyone? Especially knowing wm wants to find any reason possible to get Driskel into the game... He clearly cannot comprehend what is obvious to everyone watching!!! The Gators do not perform under Driskel!

That is so true! They will know prior to the game. Morale would be terrible. JD tends to be by himself already. The rest of team would be oozing resentment I think.

The scary part of that, is usually that would be a tactful coach, but with this coach, it is easy to think he just doesn't want to say JD will start and give the post game commentators something to shake their heads at in disbelief. But I hope treon continues to get significant playing time.

You are just a small minority of complainers. Champ is his own man. Steadfast and resolute. Champ may feel the experienced hand of an elder statesman QB, seasoned with big games is called for. He may or may not start Harris.
