Mike Davis had the better career in college and better numbers but Matt Jones goes before him in the draft.

I was surprised he got drafted before the 5th round. I thought 5th was his best chance. Not sure what they see in him but I guess he was a decent blocker back there..maybe he will turn it around in the pros. Wish him luck!

Davis has a pretty serious injury history. A lot of smoke about teams looking at Jones as an FB or H back. He has the hands for a hybrid H TE position.

Best of luck, I don't see him as a starter ever, but a serviceable backup and package guy, he does have decent hands.

Something along the lines that he actually catches the majority of the balls thrown to him, which was probably better than the receivers he played with recently.

Good for Matt. He is a great receiver out of the backfield, can block, and has really good size. I hope he has a long career and is wise with his money.
