On a more serious note...while I don't agree with the spectacle that Caitlyn has made of whole thing. I do think it is important to bring this issue to light and if it helps one person NOT to commit suicide...hard to argue with it. It doesn't affect me in the slightest nor do gay or lesbian couples. Kinda surprised at the intolerance of some on here. Change the channel...don't buy Vanity Fair. I just want people to be happy with themselves and each other. Look at the duggars...geez...it's Penn State over there.

Anyone taking the narrow-minded view that Jenner somehow deserves an award for courage needs to read this article twice. Cancer is an unspeakably painful and devastating disease. What Lauren Hill was able to accomplish in her short life was nothing short of amazing. Calling her merely "inspiring" would be so short of doing her justice and so shallow that it would be almost defaming her. Yet they give this award to a guy for getting plastic surgery, dressing up to pretend to be someone he is not, and for having the "courage" to do a photo shoot. It's appalling.

Lauren Hill's parents, friends and family will live the rest of their lives with the sadness of losing someone who was an amazing soul. Caitlyn Jenner, who is already worth over $100 million will have to live with the difficulties and burdens that come with piling even more money on to your riches.
