I have always watched a lot of TV, probably way too much both then and now. I thought it might get some posts to discuss shows from my (or better your) youth.

Animation was one of my favorites, especially Iron Man from way back then. Solar powered armor, always running out of power, and of course his drinking issues.

I enjoyed the Thunderbirds, in fact Amazon has brought back the concept updated with current animation that I enjoy today.

Space Ghost was another great show and of course is on late night TV today.

The original Superman series was another favorite of mine, the actor was the best Superman ever in my opinion, too bad he killed himself.

I enjoyed Thundar the Barbarian and The Hurculoids, first I remember of females as heros (in a supporting role at least)

Non animated shows included either Movie Stars, Animals, or the wealthy.

Lassie and Rin Tin Tin I do remember well

Roy Rodgers (Dale is another female who helped)

Sky King and many others.

I could go on but this is to get other posters involved so I will stop.

Wild Kingdom was a great show, I had forgotten it, thanks for reminding me. The rest of your list is great as well.

The original Jonny Quest was the greatest animated show to ever be aired. If you disagree, you are an idiot.

It was very good, I seem to remember seeing it on some TV channel recently. I wonder if there would be a market for new versions, Amazon is doing some of that.

They did a couple of lame reboots in the late 80s or early 90s, wasn't the same.

Venture Bros started as a great parody of them, but evolved into its own thing.

The 50s and 60s were the age of the Westerns. There were so many of them. Cover mentioned Gunsmoke and that one was the King of the Westerns. But there were a lot of other ones. A lot of them had great theme songs too. The theme songs bring back memories and are remembered my me more than the actual shows. One of my favorite was Rawhide. It's Frankie Lane singing who was a popular singer and appeared on variety shows and had hit records.

Toxic masculinity.

Chuck Conners by the way had a brief Major League Baseball career as a first baseman for the Chicago Cubs for part of one year. He played several seasons in the minors before becoming an actor.

I heard about a very limited series called the gun. It was about a gun that was passed from person to person. I never saw it but seems like a good concept that could be applied to other things, like houses, cars, or other things.
