Some takeaways

- Alabama isn’t a surprise at No. 1, but Florida State is right behind after having 11 players drafted in 2013 and 2015.

- Miami (FL) may have been down for the past few years, but The U still has no shortage of talent.

- Ohio State could set a single-draft record with as many as seven first-rounders and 15 overall picks if things go right for them.

- Not only is North Carolina on this list, but that’s despite not having a single pick last year.

- Steve Spurrier took South Carolina to unprecedented heights in the win column, and he also produced NFL players.

- The teams who just missed the cut:
Oregon (19)
Iowa (19)
Louisville (18)
Nebraska (17)
Baylor (17)
Missouri (16)
Michigan State (16)
West Virginia (16)
Auburn (15)
Penn State (15)
Texas A&M (15)

- Some other notable program numbers:
Texas (14)
UCLA (14)
Boise State (14)
UConn (14)
Michigan (13)
Virginia Tech (13)
Washington (11)
Tennessee (10)
Oklahoma State (7)

When you compare bama's hardware to the nole$, somebody has clearly underachieved with comparable NFL talent.

Just goes to show...you need talent AND coaching to get to the top. One alone rarely does it.

Look at the list overall, there is a lot of underachievement. LSU, Georgia, Oklahoma... all should have at least played for something.

Of the top 10, I'd say Florida and Miami are the two biggest underachievers. This is an indictment on Muschamp as much as anything. What a freaking joke!

Florida was an underachiever, but they were playing against teams also on this list. Oklahoma I would agrue as the biggest underachiever, play in a weak conference and they didn't play for anything. Most of the time not getting out of their own weak conference.
