Napier with OC update after Miami game

I saw the title and assumed he had given in and was going to give up.play calling. I thought "great, now he'll get two more years to find the right OC".

He's an idiot. Doing a mia culpa could save him. (Assuming they are thinking about canning him, which I don't beleive)

Yeah not gonna lie. There was some relief when I seen he wasn't giving it up.

Lol you guys remember when Dan Mullen fired Todd Grantham a game before he himself got fired. Idk why but this reminds of that moment in time
:lmao2:

Napier had a meeting with Russ Callaway telling him he was going to let Russ take the lead and call the plays. Russ said no...Im not touching it.

He's trying to prove to everyone that he knows what he's doing, but all that's happening is that he's proving to everyone that he sucks.

@GatorJ With the shameless click-bait title.

NYT would be jealous.

Not a surprise, BN is smarter than Day, Kiffin , Smart, Lanning, who have all won National Championships as coordinators but when they became Head Coaches, they hired play calling coordinators. Smart has had two become head coaches, Kiffin and Lanning have had one each.

Not a good guy, so we have to stop with that narrative. There’s overwhelming evidence that suggests he should and he’s too prideful and arrogant to do so. But it’s also because he has thin skin and can’t stomach the thought of making all these people that have been calling for him to give it up(or never assume it in the first place) right. So he’ll risk ruining the evenings or weekends of fans and alum that pay his check, not to mention impede the growth of student athletes who he pledged to help, so he can be right. Again, say what you will but that’s selfish, garbage behavior that would be called such in any other field. He’s a bad person.

As I’ve said, the contracts are the problem. If everyone could get on the same page and call this actively working against an employer and players, and thus a blatant disregard for the job, we might see guys getting fired for cause and losing tens of millions. Every hire is a gamble, but you have to at least try to fulfill your obligation. As it is, this was always going to be the case.

If you watch the interaction with the reporter, he’s visibly annoyed at even being asked, much less the follow up about his consideration of giving it up.

I’d happily contribute to the legal fees if UF grew a set and stonewalled this guy on further pay.

You wanna see someone visibly annoyed, let me ask the M'fer a question.

@NVGator, it's because we've ALL been burned NUMEROUS times by you popping in and saying something like "how's everyone doing?", then people respond, but... you gone!

How about this poor fella in the frame on the right. Goes to a Tina Turner statue unveiling. Spends the rest of his life getting ridiculed by his friends about his new "girlfriend."

Somehow, i don't think the word "explode" ever makes it into his everyday vernacular.
it was kind of a butter's thing really. we were told an offensive explosion was coming in 2014. I'm just merging Butters and his protege. I actually think the words last year were something like Billy's confident because he knows what he's got or something like that.
