Game Thread ***Official Game Thread BBALL: Florida vs Virginia***

[I Have No Friends :(]

If we want to win basketball games, the Gators need to pass the ball to one of our players. The end of the first half and beginning of the second was horrendous passing. Trying to drop the ball into our players hands over an opposing ball player is high school stuff. That and lackadaisical passing led to way too many turnovers; at the end of the game, we actually passed the ball to one of their guys. This was a winnable game that we gave away!

Yes, and that's why we play these types of games against better competition early in the season. It's a learning experience for the players and we'll get better. By the time we roll into SEC play, we should be a seasoned team. Looking forward to a nice run in the tourney this year. Go Gators!

We certainly will be much improved at rebounding and 3 pt shooting but I’m not sold on the defense or FT shooting yet
