I know by rule it was, but if that's targeting how do you tackle? That's just football. I hate that Pierce got knocked out, but that's just football.

I agree, the rule is stupid, but it is a rule and the defender lead with his head. I’ve seen countless plays just like that where not only was there a penalty, but the player was ejected 100% of the time. Either consistently enforce the rule or drop it

The EJ decision was stupid IMO. The Auburn D-lineman easily outrunning our O-line on the fumble recovery showed how slow our guys are.

Not getting points out of a fumble recovery on the 3 yard line is inexcusable.
