I never wanted to try pole vaulting because I always wondered if the pole would snap. That looks worse than any of the scenarios I ever imagined.

not to bring the mood down or anything ... but...

at a corporate event three years ago, one of my co-workers did this around 2a.m. coming down the escalator. He fell three stories and died on impact. Left behind a young pregnant wife... totally devastated the rest of us during our time there in N.O.
