What's crazy is that the coaches that probably would have been #2 and #3 (Miles and Richt) were both fired.
Based on previous success I'm not sure that you could have anybody above either other than Saban. The fact that McElwain is #2 just further cements that point.
Also just a while back when they would list the top 10 coaches in the country the SEC had about half the list and most of them are still coaching in the SEC that were listed.
