I’ve only been to one away SEC venue and that was Vanderbilt. They would be the bottom of this list. You couldn’t even tell there was a game happening that day. Horrible.
But I did enjoy a very fun tailgate in Birmingham before the 1993 SECCG (the last one in Birmingham. We wound up on the front porch of a house where we parked. There was a keg, good food and a bunch of Gators and Bammers having a great time.
LSU has always been my favorite visiting team. They come in force and will happily hand you food and beer as you walk by. They are mouthy in the stadium but pregame are great. I’d love to go to a game in Baton Rouge, whether it’s us or even another opponent. Someday.
Vols roll in with their no-shirt overalls in September and literally stink. But the worst is scUM. Hate being around that fan base. Ever. At. All. I’d rather we never schedule them.
