That is a terrible team. I thoroughly enjoyed watching that game and how well we played in all 3 phases. UT may not win another sec game for a few years.

This is Pruitt’s first hc job, and taking over a dumpster fire larger than florida’s At least from a length of time perspective. They could be back next year if Pruitt is worth a ****.

Wait. Shouldn’t we reserve judgment until he gets his players?

At least Pruitt has a .500 record.

No you did not enjoy it. What you enjoyed was discrediting the Florida win to the point of nullifying it.

Fulmer didn't exactly have many options by the time he was handed the reigns. Currie ran all over the country slandering his own school and running off any possible decent hire they might have a chance at.

I love it and think it's great, but in all actuality, UT needs to be good again to bolster the East, and the SEC. They'll still be UF's whippin' post.

I'm not sure they can coexist with a really good uga, and certainly not with Usce recruiting as well as they are. There may be some overlap years, and I don't mean they can't be better than they are. But with their limited talent options being sucked up by those other programs(not to mention Clemson), it makes it a really tough task to get back anywhere close to what they once were. There's a reason they were turned down by so many candidates, even if it meant passing on what would've been a considerable raise. It's a tough place to win right now.

yeah in their heyday they got a lot of there blue chip players from Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, and Alabama. Trailerbammer, Barn, and Clempson being on probation repeatedly certainly helped. I just don't know where they find their talent with so many teams around them humming right now. They just don't have enough talent in state to compete. They're going to have to find some special kind of recruiter.

Hard to say but some of their fans are saying they are just like Minnesota from the real old days and it will never recover. I think they could recover pretty quick if that coach can develop players. You just don't know as a head coach but he had some real good defenses - but he also had top players at those 2 stops.
