But we ain't 2008 Florida....we're not even 1990 Florida. We're 2015 Florida.....which is likely a 4 or 5 loss team (maybe more).

At least get the experience right.

I agree that playing it tight to the vest goes against the grain of Florida football as we know (or as best we can remember :( ), but in this instance I think it's smart football. With a young team and first-year coach, you've gotta learn to crawl before you can walk. Remember, this guy called the signals for Saban at Alabama. His is not exactly a sling-it-around kind of offensive mindset. It's more of a (sorry, I know I keep repeating this word) purposeful kind of offense, balanced and selectively looking for the right opportunity to pounce. And let's not forget, we've got a pretty good defense.

Winning cures all ills. We haven't had it around here in some time. We'll all be happy if and when it returns.

After 4 years of dawgchump ball we are ALL desperate to see some offense, and especially a passing attack. But Mac is looking at the future, and to be successful in the future we need to win now too. I'd rather bring Grier on slowly so that next year he's the complete QB rather than throwing him out there slinging everywhere , causing INT's and then having to be pulled because Mac needs to win the game. And I think we've already seen that Mac will sit a QB that is having a rough time.

Considering we're still less than a decade from winning two championships and 6 years since Tebow, I'd say being UF doesn't carry the same weight as it did 6 years ago.
