Yeah, Tennis is pretty boring but there are some significant milestones associated with this one. Federer seems to be playing the best he has in years and might have a realistic chance to make a run at the Championship which would be his 6th. Currently tied with Sampras and Connors with 5 each, a win would make him the only 6 time champion. It's a long shot but I'll definitely be rooting for him. Meanwhile Nadal is going for his third and number 1 ranked Djokovic his second.

Serena is trying to complete the Calendar Grand slam making her only the 5th player in history to ever achieve it. It would also tie her Steffi Graf for the most grand slam victories at 22 each. Graf also happens to be the last player to win the Calendar Grand Slam.
