The Board that Shall Not be Named.Plus it would seem here, they more than make up for it in emotes. Which I might add---are great. MUCH better than....back there.

Continuing my role as Politeness Translator:
@92gator, that is Ox's polite way of telling you that it might be time to upgrade that Commodore VIC-20, buddy.
I'm with 92 on this one. Sometimes when I type (better now) the words are 3-4 behind pausing to catch up. This is the best it's been so maybe something was done. My computer is a Lenovo I-7 Laptop.
By way of background: 95% of this is full of chit. After-the-fact damage control mixed with falsehoods and lies. Many of the people who are here now told them in no uncertain terms our displeasure at the situation...they didn't listen. Didn't care until people started leaving en masse. After about a week of a good cadre of longtime posters not showing up--many started to open threads asking where people were...they were locked or deleted. After another week went by--the administrators decided to make the post you quoted by way of damage control. Too little, too late.
I was the poster that was slapped with a 3 day ban for saying this: "Thanks John Madden for your brilliant analysis" (after the mod made one of his usual drive-by baiting posts that had nothing to do with the topic itself).
You have to be completely deranged and infantile to take serious offense to that...but river (a mod over there) did. He deleted that comment...twice. This wasn't an isolated thing either...he did it to many others on multiple occasions. So I think you can see why so many of us are pissed.
So be it.
We're here now and good riddance to the other site and their clueless administrators.
Don't want to speak for all us exiles...but I think most of us are very happy here and look forward to becoming part of the regular crew.
I don't do that here because I thought it was overly silly and a bit dumb. When I noticed they were already doing it over there, it sealed the deal to avoid doing it here.
A like is plenty of recognition.
AMEN, brother... I never understood the attraction... nee... infatuation some of the characters had with those ratings. They lived and died by their ratings.
In the future please give us the respect we're due by capitalizing Overlords. And it's not sugar caves that we operate, it's salt mines. We extract raw sodium from liberal tears.
I for one welcome our new overlords. I would like to remind them that as a trusted internet personality, I could be useful in rounding up others to toil in their underground sugar caves.
Roman's 9 clearly points out it is God who does the choosing of His elect.
3 As it is written, Jacob have I loved, but Esau have I hated.
14 What shall we say then? Is there unrighteousness with God? God forbid.
15 For he saith to Moses, I will have mercy on whom I will have mercy, and I will have compassion on whom I will have compassion.
16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.
Ephesians 1 tells us He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world.
God is sovereign I think we all (Christians) agree. If He wanted everybody to be saved then He would not be sovereign because everybody is not saved.
Free will has nothing to do with salvation and everything to do with out free will to sin, or not.
I think that means that someone is recording your keyboard strokes prior to it appearing on your screen. But I'd ask EyeDocGator about it.
Wrong thread, or have you taken to the virtual equivalent of holding a sign on a street corner saying "REPENT!"
Love that avatar!I wouldn't change a letter of this. This place reminds me a bit of THFSG, about 15 years ago.
Great posts, mb. Maybe we can do something now about the heathen around here. Glad you're on board!Roman's 9 clearly points out it is God who does the choosing of His elect.

What I find so interesting is the fact they are monitoring this Forum...WHY?
They (TH) go nuts over all CAPs but can respond as vile as they want.
I've been banned this year yet a Mod posted I had not had a warning in 2 1/2 years.
They went nuts if you said ANYTHING against Obama but are now saying we are just a bunch of Trumpers.
I am shocked I have not been banned BUT I keep calling them out.
And the ones that really kill are the Self-Righteous ones who claim to be so enlightened BUT we are the angry haters who have to call names.
