My high school was never well known for anything other than football...our bball team usually sucked but my junior year we were very solid and won regionals for the first time in 36 years. Had 5 senior starters that year so going into my senior year and replacing all of them we weren't picked to do anything. Ended up losing only 1 conference game and became the first class in school history to win a regional title and a conference title. To win conference we had to beat our biggest rival and favorite to win our conference at home on senior night. We end up winning in overtime in a crazy intense game. Everything was going our way entering regionals except the team we just beat was the host team and we were lined up to meet again but had one game to play against a team we smoked in the regular season without one of our starters and our 6th man so it should have been easy. The other team comes out on fire and finished the game shooting over 70% from the field. I've never seen anything like it and literally nothing we could do....everything they threw up went in. Most crushing defeat of my life.

I wasn't fast and couldn't jump but i could shoot

I suppose that's better than telling the ladies "I have a quick trigger and dribble a lot, but have trouble getting it in the hole. Usually you'll find me looking for the rebound."
