Report: Former Gators CB could reunite with Muschamp

Phil Kornblut of SportsTalkSC.com is reporting that South Carolina is the favorite to land former Florida cornerback J.C. Jackson. Riverside City College (Calif.) secondary coach Isaac Shipp told Kornblut that Jackson is “leaning towards South Carolina at the moment. He will be finished with his AA in mid-June.”

...

Before his Gators career could get started, Jackson had shoulder surgery and redshirted for the 2014 season. He was considered a favorite to start at cornerback in 2015, but was dismissed from the team in April following four felony charges relating to a break in and armed robbery of a Gainesville apartment. Jackson was found not guilty of all charges in November.

May they get what they both deserve and be re-united.

I guess JC isn't interested in going somewhere where he would actually have a chance to win some games.

I can go to school in Tampa, Miami, or Columbia, South Carolina. What idiot would actually choose USCe in that situation? That doesn't even take into account what a loser The Chump is.

If he had issues keeping on the right side of the law in little Gainesville, imagine the problems he would have in Miami or Tampa. It's probably the right decision for him from that aspect. He has the talent to be a quality college player and NFL prospect. He can play offense or defense.

That being said, he had to go.

He also committed to Mushchamp, might be honoring the commit to the coach... who might have "had his back" the whole time.
