Will Muschamp press conference recap

From what I gathered from the twitter comments on the SEC coaches conference:

1. No new information on Treon... It's a serious situation
2. Still figuring out who is backup... both Grier and Skyler taking reps
3. Driskel was going to play in LSU game, even if Treon was named starter.

Injury update:

Leon Orr is questionable
Taylor will play
Powell will play
Grier is ready to go
Showers is out
CJ Worton is back and will play on Sat

Depth chart at QB:

Jeff will start the game. As they continue to practice Skyler and Will are swapping reps... they will make that decision gametime.

On the receivers:

15 drops so far in 4 games. They need to build confidence with good practice and they need to make plays.

CJ will be more involved.
Brandon Powell will be more involved.

On playing 2 QBs... "We will do what we need to do to win the game"

Thought he said 15.

They were probably going to redshirt Grier before this

Not speaking to any questions on Treon

Sounds like he would consider playing Grier if Driskel was having major issues - hearing some of his statements.

On the delay of game at the end of the half... didn't want to chance any time being left on the clock for UT to have a shot since the ball was on the 50 and Woorley can throw it 70 yards...

Told offensive players... they need to take "ownership" in their jobs.

Building Jeff's confidence by focusing on all the positives that he has had in his career.

Took 15 plays and showed how the team needs to play better overall around the QB position... it's not all on the QB.

really getting defensive about Driskel again

CJ Worton has a chance to start in the slot

LB Daniel McMillian missed the UT game with a head injury. He's back now,

Grier threw the ball well Monday and yesterday... he is expecting him to continue to progress through the week.

On the fight... "we've made a big one out of this"... "it was over cleats"

Nobody stole anything "if anybody stole anything they wouldn't be on the team"

Matt Jones has swelling on his knee... hasn't practiced yet, but they expect him to practice today and play.

What do you expect him to say? Driskel is now forced to be the starter thanks to the Harris situation. Might as well build his confidence up as much as possible.

And, yes, Driskel is the best option to start at QB. Grier hasn't practiced in weeks and Mornhinweg is the 4th string QB.

The board has been very wonkey this week. I know others have mentioned it too. Times out or just lags.

Have you seen the video where they put a sound chip in a roomba? Evertime it hits something, a human voice reacts like when we stub a toe, hit our head on a cabinet, or hit our knee on the corner of a table.
