One podcast is constantly pushing for Kerwin Bell. Shane Matthews says that Kerwin Bell will never be an OC anywhere after working under Charlie Strong. He said it was completely disastrous working under a coach who did not give him the freedom to do what he needed to do.

He will only do head coach jobs from here on out.

For starters at QB, Mertz has played light years better than AR did at any point last year. We've actually won games because of Mertz and instead of losing games for us like AR did. Our WRs and TEs are better as a whole this year. Ricky, Wilson, boardingham, and etc have performed better and are a more talented group than we had last year. And the majority are all Billy's guys. Yes our O line is struggling but you can't blame Billy for that, we had guys transfer out for different non related football reasons and he made the best out of our bad situation.

Defense is solid up front and we added depth on the d line and LB through the portal. You guys give Marshall a hard time but he rarely gets thrown at because he is playing so well. The rest of our secondary is mostly young guys learing on the job. And shemar went down at LB but he was playing lights out before that. The proof is there, you just REFUSE to see it because we haven't won every game and beat everybody by 20 points. Get real

You could own a company where you have people out there that are busting their ass every day but they’re not performers. In the end if you’re not a performer, you’re let go.

If our program had any balls at all, they would go out and get Dan Lanning. Just like USC did with the Oklahoma guy.

But don’t do a 10 year deal. Do a 5 year deal. And pay the shyt out of him for five years.

Also, Lanning has the QB with the most CFB starts ever, give Mertz another year with Billy and we will be putting up 40 points a game.

I don't really have anything to add, yet another lowlight, embarrassing performance. I guess the only thing I have noticed is that Taterhead has totally lost the fanbase, only the most diehard pumpers who are always the last one's off the Titanic are still true believers. Nobody believes this guy has what it takes to be successful. He should be fired now, but he'll make it into the middle of next year before the inevitable happens, thus wasting yet another season.

You can't honestly expect Billy to be a miracle worker and make us a playoff contender overnight. He came into a situation that was the worst in the country. No other football program was even close to as bad as the situation Florida football was in. Nobody have ever taken a program to a championship and won it in year 2, nobody. And with NIL and the transfer portal to take into account, it's the hardest it's ever been.

This is the ever popular trend with nearly ALL of our defensive "5 stars"....been here for about 5 years now and are still 15-20# undersized and 3or 4 tenths in the forty too slow for their positions....This started around 2018 and is becoming a tradition.
