Welp, the fans strike again. Hope you’re happy. Literally no one’s gonna ever wanna be a Director of Sports Nutrition here.

I do find this scenario funny:

Ohio State coming off back to back 10+ win seasons: “Ryan Day gotta go, he can’t beat Michigan!”

*Media silent*

UF coming off 3rd straight losing season, back to back by Napier: “It’s time to move on from Napier”

Media: “Gator fans are the worst, most impatient bunch of mouth breathing fans everrrr!!”

Sad thing is, a lot of Gator fans go along with this narrative ^

But yet that same program kept Norvell after two losing seasons with the discontents calling for his scalp.
If they fired him after the two bad seasons they would be digging out of another hole not on the verge of being in the playoffs.
So tired of hearing this BS.
Norvelle was EXTREMELY LUCKY that he has a generational QB and, a covid year to work with.
Have you watched them play this year, outside of our game?
If not for Travis, the noles would be 8-4 right now.

Clemson had them beat and a strip sack for a TD let the noles slink back in it.
Thats just one example. Miami shiit the bed against them, Duke had them beat AT HOME with their starting QB on the bench. If We were just half azz competent, we would have beat these turds in the swamp, with a backup QB.

I'll give Norvell this, he did hit the portal hard and it paid off. He had to have a huge season this year to avoid a warm or hot seat, he saw what the team needed, went out and got it in the portal. Thats the biggest reason he has a top 5 recruiting class right now.

Norvelle caught a generational QB with a Covid year in his pocket. He will return to 8-4 7-5 next year.

Our media boys are the biggest pussies in the business. Won't write one article calling for change until he's already fired.

Honestly, as I told Ox yesterday, that really isn’t happening. When we were talking about canning McElwain, the whole world pointed out his two east titles. Very similar or more with Mullen. We were a rabid, unrealistic Fanbase. From national media, to his former players, to former UF players, there is absolute silence right now. No one is defending this garbage, and everyone realizes we would be within our right to send this guy packing.

Would love for us to make a hard run at Day.
He's upset with the fans, the fans are upset with him, hell, Come to Florida young man.
I know, everyone says this is unrealistic.

I used to think that way as well. The paradigm changed when Kelly Left Notre Dame.

The other false narrative on Norvell is that FSU was patient with him and it paid off.
The FSU administration wasn’t patient nearly as much as they were flat a$$ broke having paid off Taggert already while running a deficit in the athletics department. In fact, FSU was intending to let him go in an effort to dodge the claims of racism for giving the white coach longer than the black coach but simply couldn’t raise the funds to do it.

So patience and rabbit ear pockets are the reasons why he’s still there.
