Homer, in all seriousness, in the days of Armored Cavalry Regiments, you do understand that a Troop had ALL those things, right? We had 2 x M106's in our Troop and a battery of 6 x M109's in our Squadron and we got to call for live fire for them at Graf in Germany (where I ONCE got to call for 155mm for being a 1000 pt gunner, we got to call for our 4.2" mortars tons of times, especially illum on ranges). When our 11Cs were short handed, there were a dozen of us cross trained to round out the two crews.
Given "1985," you'll remember SQT manuals... there was no SQT manual even close in size to that huge assed 19D SQT manual. It's why I picked the job over "Pershing Missile Repairman" (or whatever da fuk SSG Ady wanted me to pick)... 19D video was hands down the most fun "shoot 'n blow schit up" video they had at the 'crootin station!
This is SO typical of us Army types! We're in a "Beat Navy" thread while those homos watch us kick the schit out of each other
