Agreed, do you agree that if a recruit is a target almost all the top schools will keep the recruiting avenues open whether they have verbally committed elsewhere? Or are they only targeting our commits since we appear to be ablaze tumbling toward another regime change?
Top recruits are constantly contacted by all the schools. The higher the recruit's profile, the more of the top schools keep working...unless the recruit shuts them down definitively. Most recruits have folks to reach out if they are committed but open to communications if they have otherwise made it public they are "committed".

Tater did see some of those 12 see the field, Mullen had 12 from his first two classes that never made fall practice the year they were signed. I mean I know we are comparing schit storms... but both spelled like crap just in different ways.

Right, 100%. But even then, if Simple hired a DL coach wouldn’t you want to look under the hood? Little late to the game. He likely already trusts and believes in the stable staffs recruiting him. I cannot imagine the load of **** Simple’s recruiting staff is having to sling at commits. Who would believe Blee when he pretends he’s hiring someone that can get him ready for the league?
I wonder if the flirtations with these other schools were not much more than that and they weren’t giving committable offers, thus he had to stay with us. Could it be the same situation with the Barn where they only have so many slots left and Amaris, while a priority to flip, aint the highest priority to flip? There definitely seems to be some kind of back story here.
