Not if they have a bunch of 5* players in front of him. He'll be playing special teams until Satan shows him the door.Good carreer decision.

I confess I had no idea what was coming with Tebow. I knew he was rated elite, but not that he would be a generational talent and leader. He was key to Meyer’s success. QB is just so essential. Lagway looks like the real deal.If Napier somehow makes it out of all this, and ends up miraculously being successful here for years to come, he will owe it all, almost entirely, to DJ Lagway. Not sure I’ve liked an incoming recruit as much as this kid, maybe ever.
I have to tell you, Ole Homer never gives up.Not if they have a bunch of 5* players in front of him. He'll be playing special teams until Satan shows him the door.
Maybe, but we won A LOT of games with defense. Spikes was just as important. He added the mean to the defense. They said he would punish players if he thought they weren't practicing hard, on either side of the field.I confess I had no idea what was coming with Tebow. Remember when Ricks transferred from LSU to Bama and never played?I have to tell you, Ole Homer never gives up.

Similarly Watson was that guy for Sweeney at Climpson in a 10ish rated class that led them to the promise land. A great QB is worth way more than his ranking value to a class. I think Graham could be that guy in defense who starts sometime early in the season.I confess I had no idea what was coming with Tebow. One of the Gator shows on YouTube said we are below the 85 limit.I like that Slackman was a wrestler. Balance. Toughness. Leverage.
We’re at or slightly over 85 at the moment. Any more transfers in and recruits will necessitate further attrition.
I didn’t say that clearly, sorry. One of the Gator shows on YouTube said we are below the 85 limit.
Wideouts Ja'Quavion Fraziars and Marcus Burke, specialist Ja'Markis Weston, quarterback Jack Miller, defensive backEthan Pouncey, offensive lineman Riley Simmonds, and defensive linemenDesmond Watson and Jaelin Humphries.
I would think they are in the same ballpark.Yeah, they said it included the 20 high school recruits.
I can’t remember if it was Nick D or On3 that said it.
Big Dez transferring? To where? P90X University?I didn’t say that clearly, sorry.
I was going off a 247 article by Jacob Rudner from Saturday night (12/16) that said we were at 65, which combined with the 20 in our recruiting class means we’d have 85 at that point. Now the total would be at 87?
He said sources pegged the following guys as on the brink of the portal to make room for additional recruits and transfers in:
Of course, the 85 limit doesn’t apply until preseason camp starts in August. And there has always been attrition between now and then due to grades, medical issues etc.
We needed to lose more guys in the portal than what we picked up, a week or two ago, including the incoming class we were at 86.One of the Gator shows on YouTube said we are below the 85 limit.
Help me here- we really needed guys to leave so staff could bring in new talent at key positions; or, w/o transfers staff would have not needed portal acquisitions and been happy or stuck w their roster? We needed to lose more guys in the portal than what we picked up, a week or two ago, including the incoming class we were at 86.

Always the risk with staffs that consistently recruit inside the top 10. And even if Grims hits the portal, it does not mean he would have developed at UF. We wish opponent boards were saying the same thing about our commits- that they will transfer in two seasons when passed by our next elite class. Not if they have a bunch of 5* players in front of him. How much or many of the transfer outs would have been planned/encouraged? Seems close to being engineered. We didn't have enough space on the roster to bring in the class that had committed, we had 86 committed spots, but only 85 actual spots.
