Not buying it :shakehead:
If we're undefeated by the time he's eligible to play again, JMac ain't gonna hand him the starting spot. It'll be Treon's (or whoever may be the starter next year) job to lose.

Harris has been playing, and for the most part winning. It's still Griers job to lose unless someone else comes along.

I wouldn't say Grier wouldn't have to earn the spot back. I think they'll make him, but I think he'll succeed.

Oh I get it, we're doing that thing where we predict guys are sure fire high draft picks after minimal body of work again?

Kinda like everyone thought Driskel was going to be a first round pick after his junior year just because he was invited to Elite 11.

Didn't you lead the Driskel Heisman Campaign?

Yes, about 90% of the people on here did.
I don't think anyone actually believed they would. I know everyone was hoping it would happen...along with winning the lottery.

I disagree. Although I think everyone had hope, I think they also believed he'd be starting next fall.

Well, we can kiss any championship visions for next year goodbye. Simply unreal. I thought it would reduced.

Personally I think he's done as the starting QB for the Gators. I know a lot of other people believe he's going to be handed the starter job the second he's eligible again, but I'm just not convinced. A year is a long time, the team will have to move on without him.

Best for Grier to move on and for UF to move on as well in recruiting a QB that has the common sense not to blatantly try to shirk the rules and cheat, then feign ignorance as a defense.

We don't have anyone else. We are stuck with Treon next year.

I thought it would be reduced as well. Oh well. It'll be interesting to see if he stays. The thing is that he can beat out Treon if Treon is still the guy. So he's got a shot at starting for a major college team right here. I could see him transferring though, just to get a fresh start. He sure isn't going straight to any draft with 4 or 5 college games under his belt.
