The longer Butters stays, the worse it gets. Id be happy to have Sidehat or someone else serve as an interim for a year even while we find a homerrun hire.

Do you read anything else? Other than in the forums that ban dissent, do you not find pumpers and realists in the same proportion? Think its any different with the bull gators? Perception. Unless we could grab a proven winner like Dabo (not a huge fan, but you know what to expect) or Petersen (probably not going to leave the west coast), getting another up and coming coach or a coordinator may not be the answer, and that's likely what would happen. That being said, I am sick of futility at the helm.

It's probably an up and comer or power5 guy with . 500 record. Very rarely do you see proven guys leave their job. It's about finding the right fit. I remember thinking when jimbo was first promoted that a peeon like Bowdens OC would amount to nothing. Didn't take him long at all. I don't think mac is the right fit here imo.
